Gibbous moon phase hare handmade in white earthenware with oxide and transfer decoration.
Hares have long been considered as a sacred animal and are historically linked with the moon. The moon is believed to affect plant growth in its different phases. My moon phase hares link these ideas together, each hare depicting a collaged moon design with emerging plant growth. They can be hung singularly or as a set of 3 which look stunning leaping across a wall.
Each hare measures 12 cm high x 26 cm wide.
These ceramic hares are hung simply from a nail, screw or picture hook in the wall from the adhesive d ring on the reverse. Due to the nature of the fixing, due not get these products wet.
