Lovely handpainted antique writing slope, full of character.
I wanted to showcase its beautiful wood patina and signs of its use whilst also enhancing its charm by decorating it. The ink stains are key to its story telling. Sometimes, the piece speaks for itself and needs just minimal intervention.
It has been fully treated and finished off with a beeswax for protection.
